WebP Wizard (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is developed by BlueHorse Software Solutions Pvt Ltd and provides a tool for Shopify merchants to optimize and convert their store images into the WebP format. This policy explains how we handle data when merchants use our app.
WebP Wizard operates entirely within the Shopify admin panel and does not collect or process any customer (shopper) data from your store. The app only interacts with store media files (images) that belong to the merchant for the purpose of optimization and conversion.
When the app is installed, Shopify provides limited access to the store via Shopify APIs, strictly within the scope required for image optimization. Specifically, we may access:
No personal customer, order, or checkout data is collected, accessed, or stored by WebP Wizard.
All image processing happens securely and is limited to the merchant’s store. WebP Wizard does not store or host images permanently outside Shopify.
WebP Wizard stores only the minimal data required for app functionality, such as:
We do not permanently store any image files or customer information. Data is securely stored in our database only for app configuration and subscription management.
We do not sell, share, or disclose merchant or store data to third parties. The app may use Shopify’s built-in APIs and infrastructure to perform image processing and communicate with the merchant’s store. Any communication occurs within Shopify’s secure ecosystem.
We use secure HTTPS connections and authentication methods provided by Shopify to protect all data transmitted between your store and our app. Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized systems and used only as required for image optimization.
Because WebP Wizard does not store image content or customer data, there is minimal data to delete. When a merchant uninstalls the app, the following actions occur automatically:
Optimized images remain safely stored in your Shopify store and are never deleted by WebP Wizard.
WebP Wizard is intended for use by Shopify merchants and is not designed for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Depending on your store’s location, limited configuration data may be processed on secure servers in different regions. We ensure all processing follows industry security standards and Shopify’s Partner Program requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or compliance requirements. The latest version will always be available at this URL with an updated effective date.
